Maketa Mabane is a multidisciplinary UX and brand strategist who brings vision to life at the intersection of design, technology, and story. With foundations in Architecture (Cornell) and Communication Design (Parsons), she fuses structural precision with creative intuition to craft experiences that feel as intelligent as they are inspired.

Her practice spans experience strategy, creative direction, and digital product design, helping brands and founders translate abstract ideas into cohesive ecosystems of meaning and motion. Over the past decade, Maketa has shaped strategy and design for global innovators such as Beats by Dre, Google, the San Francisco 49ers, and ServiceNow, as well as cultural ventures like Madstone (Spike Lee & Tonya Lewis Lee) and NewMe Accelerator (now Lightship Capital).

She currently leads UX Design at Vanguard, where she architects AI-driven design systems and user experiences that scale to millions, defining the future of how people interact with technology through clarity, ethics, and emotion.
